Seriously encouraging and packed with wisdom from the Lord! It matches exactly that little voice of hope I feel in my heart sometimes: “Your seemingly small dreams really WILL change the world…” It is such a battle to trust the Lord that when I give everything in me to loving Him, He will bring to fruition the desires that HE put in me. I almost feel like my battle is the opposite direction — yes, it’s to believe the dreams He gave are bigger than they seem, but I don’t desire to be in the government…I just want to raise children who love Jesus! Sometimes it feels like the prevailing thought, though is: “you’re 17! You should be going to college and deciding what you want to DO with your life…” Sometimes I just want to yell it out: “I KNOW what I want to do with my life! I want to tell people that Jesus came to save them and I want to love and bring up children who will do that too and I want to take in babies who otherwise wouldn’t have a home…” anyways, I’m going on and on… but YES! I love this post. The world needs to hear what you have to say (not just about this…about a lot!)

I’m a friend of Anna & Rachel’s and stumbled across this post from Anna’s blog. As a mother of two young boys with another child on the way, I deeply appreciate the thoughtfulness, humility and encouragement in you taking the time to write to a demographic that is oft overlooked in our culture – esp. among young, single men! I feel blessed and re-inspired by the high calling I’ve been given in the secret place of motherhood.
