My name is Truman Falkner. I was born, raised, and still live in Kansas City, Missouri. I am on staff at the International House of Prayer and I play the piano on a worship team there. I am now 18 years old and I love the Lord. That is really who I am. My primary identity is in being the one that God loves, and one who loves God. And because persons never come alone, we always come in webs of relationships, I also love my family, a lot.

I’ve found my name in the Word of God and it alone can define who I am. I’ve found my name in Ephesians 1:5 during a Rizzo set and that has ruined me. That’s a little bit about me. I’ve realized with Kinlaw in “Let’s Start with Jesus” that even the most perfect person is incomplete. My identity is not found in myself. My destiny and purpose is not inherent, but result from the very nature of the One who made me. The One who made me is Love, therefore as the work of His hands, I am the object of His love and He made me for companionship with Him. My value is not based on how well I play keys or sing or how well I know the Bible and can speak. My value is based on the truth that I am the object of Love of the One who is Love. My purpose is not self-determined, it is determined by the One who made me for Himself. Underneath it all, I am “LOVED AND A LOVER.”
